One of the concerns many nurses have regarding nurse advisor roles is the sales element and whether or not this goes against the nursing code of practice.  The aim of the nurse advisor is to facilitate the healthcare sales role.  Here exists a delicate balance between maintaining the impartiality a nurse must have to honour their code but also a commercial awareness in order capitalise on any opportunities that may arise.
