In essence, nurse advisor jobs are a sales facilitation jobs.  Their duties typically involve audits and clinics in scenarios where these activities will lead to the increased usage of a company's products.  There is a fine line here for nurses concerned about their code of conduct which strictly outlaws any kind of sales activity.  Some nurse advisors are uncomfortable with the commercial aspects of the role and as a results head back to the NHS, but for those who stay within the industry there is a rewarding and progressive career pathway to follow.
