SMS Terms and Conditions


Our Jobs by SMS feature will send you a maximum of 10 SMS text per day, if 1 or more jobs have been added that match your 'jobs by email' selections. You may limit the number of messages you can receive each day. You will receive a message which says 'New jobs have been added to pharmacareers.co.uk Either check your email or log on and check your jobs basket for details.

Messages are sent to the mobile number entered on your registration form and uses reverse billing (details below). Your mobile number MUST be entered in international format. So for UK phones, replace the 0 at the beginning of the number with +44. e.g. 07932 123 456 must be entered as +447932123456

Q. How much does it cost?

Services available to Vodafone, Orange, O2 and T-Mobile customers. Each text costs 100p to receive. You just need to be 16 or over and if you want to have alerts sent to you directly and be the authorised user of the handset.

Cancelling Service
Q. How do I unsubscribe/stop the service?

Unsubscribe by logging on to the website, clicking on Edit Your Details and de-selecting the SMS option. Alternatively, send "stop" to the number you received an alert from (e.g. 80818). You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you select this option again. You may also send an email with Cancel SMS as the subject line to info@pharmacareers.co.uk

Problems Signing-Up?
Q. Why can't all mobiles register?

Only Vodafone, Orange, O2, Virgin and T-Mobile customers can currently utilise a process called 'reverse billing' which allows customers to receive the service and then be charged on their bill. Other operators are looking to offer this service in the future and we will publish details of this on the website when it becomes available.

Q. Who can receive results?

You must be 16 or over, have a mobile phone connected to a Vodafone, Orange, O2 or T-Mobile tariff and you must have read and accepted the terms and conditions on the website.

Q. Why can't I receive text alerts on my mobile phone? Why have I stopped receiving alerts on my phone?

It could be for one of the following reasons:

You are not a Vodafone, Orange, O2, Virgin or T-Mobile customer

The text message memory on your phone is full

Your pre pay credit has run out

You have withheld your number

Your phone may have been switched off for 72 hours

You may not have been in range for 72 hours
