In comparisons to other healthcare sales jobs, the customers in theatres are often very relaxed, contrary to what one might assume with the perceived stress of life saving operations this is possible one of the most relaxed customer environments in secondary care.  The popular image of a a surgeon at work to the soothing sound of mozart is indeed often an accurate portrayal of what can be a scene of an eccentric artist doing what they do best.

Salaries vary according the the product being sold although bonus opportunities should be strong to encourage and motivate good performance.
